Motor Vehicle Collision at 194 & Deer Run
At 8:33 on November 18, 2015, units from Walkersville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Companies were dispatched for a vehicle accident at MD 194 and Deer Run Drive.
Duty 11 arrived on the scene to find two vehicles in a t-bone collision with one patient still in the car, and cars still in the roadway.
Engine 111 arrived on the scene to block traffic.
Duty 11 requested a second ambulance for a second patient.
Rescue Squad 24 arrived on the scene to assist with patient care and blocking traffic.
Ambulance 247 arrived on the scene to start patient care.
Both patients were transported to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Units went in service as ready.
